Lindsay Crouse & Christopher Lydon in

Truman Capote’s A Christmas Memory

This warm and delicately illustrated gem of a holiday story is brought to life Sunday, December 17th at 7:30pm. Seven-year-old Buddy inaugurates the Christmas season by crying out to his cousin, Miss Sook Falk: “It’s fruitcake weather!” Thus begins an unforgettable portrait of an odd but enduring friendship between two innocent souls – one young and one old – and the memories they share of beloved holiday rituals.

The largely autobiographical story written by Truman Capote, is directed by Artistic Director Robert Walsh and starring Gloucester Stage favorite and Academy Award nominee, Lindsay Crouse and Christopher Lydon, the host of WBUR’s “Open Source.’’ They are joined by Elizabeth Ingram, Ted Hewlett, and fresh from his performance of Dill in To Kill A Mockingbird, Gabriel Magee.

Tickets are reserved seating and price of admission includes drinks and dessert buffet with post-show party.
