THEATER & OFFICE ADDRESS

267 East Main Street,
Gloucester, MA 01930

_

Cape Ann takes summer relaxation seriously, and we don’t want you to be rushed. Early arrival is encouraged for all patrons – consider making dinner reservations 2 hours before showtime – or enjoy our upgraded Concessions Bar – Dopo Teatro featuring Italian Amaros and Snacks.

Parking is free, but shared with our neighbors along East Main Street or use the free Rocky Neck parking lot.

PARKING

With a supportive neighborhood sharing the free on-street parking around the theater, patrons will be able to find safe parking spots within a five minute walk on the fullest of shows. When parking on neighboring streets, be double-sure to not block driveways and not park on the sidewalk. We also recommend you fold in sideview mirrors.

There are 3 Handicap Parking Spaces and drop off area directly in front of the theater.

Additional parking is available in the Rocky Neck free public lot; simply take the next right turn after passing the theater, and you’ll see the lot on your right.

ARRIVAL BY CAR

Gloucester Stage is located about an hour north of Boston. Drive north on Route 128, following the signs for Route 128/Gloucester through two rotaries.

After the second rotary, go straight through the lights to East Main Street. Keep straight until you arrive at Gloucester Stage on your right.

ARRIVAL BY BOAT

Stay, Park, or Dine Downtown Gloucester then catch a Water Taxi from Harbor Loop or St. Peter’s Square to Gloucester Stage’s Dock for an unforgettable experience.

This opportunity works best for Saturday & Sunday 3pm Matinees (shuttle service stops at 8pm).

Start with lunch, catch the shuttle at 2pm, arrive at the theater before 3pm, and head back after the performance at 5pm.

ARRIVAL BY TRAIN

From Boston Metro, take the Northshore MBTA Commuter Rail to the second to last stop: Gloucester (The 2nd station – $21 Round Trip). There is still 1 mile to the theater, so consider:

  • Grabbing a taxi
  • Walking down to St. Peter’s Square to take the Water Taxi to Gloucester’s Dock ($10 Round Trip)
  • Take a stroll to the theater around Gloucester Harbor until you reach the theater – enjoy a cute lunch spot along the way.
