Ladies on the Mic

Comedy Night

Hosted by Mike Dorval & Erin Judge

Join one of our favorite performers, stand-up comedian Mike Dorval, as he hosts some of the best women comedians from New England and beyond!, headlined by LA-based comedian Erin Judge. Erin started out performing stand-up in Boston and has since toured the country, appeared on Comedy Central and Last Comic Standing, and written an award-winning book. Mike and Erin will be joined by some hilarious friends for a Tuesday nightshow that’s not to be missed!

Erin Judge is a comedian, novelist, culture writer, producer, actor, and highly opinionated traveling nightclub entertainer based in Los Angeles. “Judge tells jokes that incinerate misogynists, celebrate the fluidity of gender, and wring thoughtful hilarity out of sexual confusion.” —The Village Voice, August 2016

Erin started out doing stand-up at the best comedy club in the world: the Comedy Studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Since then, she’s appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing (2014), on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham (2008), and at lots of festivals, including Women in Comedy, Bridgetown, Boston, and Laugh Your Asheville Off, as well as Eugene Mirman’s eponymous one. She’s told jokes at clubs, on boats, at colleges, and in Europe, and she’s performed in more than 60 North American cities with the CAKE Comedy Tour. Her first comedy album, So Many Choices, is available from Rooftop Comedy.

Erin’s debut novel, Vow of Celibacy, won Best Fiction at the 2016 Bi Book Awards and got great reviews. Erin’s words also appear in VanityFair.com, the Advocate, Salon, and on her blog at so make it up. And she wrote for the stage with The Meaning of Wife, which got four stars from Time Out New York, and as a contributor to Wake Up World!, Lizz Winstead’s satirical off-Broadway show. She currently co-hosts Romantic Comedy, a popular monthly comedy show at The Ripped Bodice, the country’s first romance bookstore, in Culver City, CA.

Erin talks and writes about queerness, sexuality, body image, culture, and her life. She loves words, ideas, mysticism, humans, justice, love, friendship, art, and Andrew Molera State Park. She believes #BlackLivesMatter, misogyny hurts everyone, and pizza is a human right. If you want even more Erin, read her book, listen to her album, visit her press page, and connect on social media!

Mike Dorval “One of Boston’s Best”. In a city famous for great comedians, that’s how The Boston Globe described Mike Dorval. After doing comedy for only three months, Mike won the New Hampshire Comedy Festival, beating out some of the most established comics in New England and soon became one of the youngest headliners in Boston history. Mike has been featured in Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots, numerous television commercials, and stars in the upcoming independent film, “Dick Spicketts”. Most recently he toured overseas for the USO, entertaining thousands of US military personnel abroad and released his first live comedy album entitled, “We need to talk…”. Mike’s takes on his Catholic upbringing, love life, and the insanity of the world around him have entertained audiences at colleges and clubs across the country and prompted The Boston Herald to exclaim, “Michael Dorval is hilarious!”
